Juan José Domenchina (Madrid, 1898-Mexico City, 1959) is one of the great forgotten authors of the prose of the Generation of 27, nevertheless he was one of the most steely and influential writers of the pre-war Spanish literary scene. With a very personal style and linked to the conceptualist and baroque currents, Juan José Domenchina, after his forced exile, became an existential poet full of anguish and, at times, of certain hope.

This volume brings together a selection of articles of literary criticism, considering the author's entire career, dedicated to Spanish, European and Latin American literature that show us the vision and depth of analysis of the man who was a literary master.

The philologist, hispanist, expert gongorist and of the Golden Age, Amelia de Paz (Madrid, 1968) has been the anthologist and responsible for an enlightening introductory study.
