The Cranford has been a lively and bold force within the London art scene over the last decade. Out of the House is the first exhibition of the collection outside the private context in which it is usually found.

The exhibition is centred on British and German art from the mid-eighties until today, and presents a comprehensive study of each artist. The British artists Damien Hirst, Bridget Riley, Sarah Lucas, Rachel Whiteread and Rebecca Warren and the German artists, Sigmar Polke, Franz West, Albert Oehlen, Martin Kippenberger and Rosemarie Trockel are some of the artists who included in a dynamic installation, that aims to highlight how these artists have revitalized and reinvented the traditional mediums of painting and sculpture.
