Espíritu y espacio. Coleccion Sandretto Re Rebaudengo is part of the series of exhibitions that we organise at the Art Gallery of Grupo Santander City. This collection, created by Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in the early 1990s in Turin, currently houses almost 2000 pieces by artists who have traced the history of contemporary art from the 1980s to the present day.
The exhibition, curated by Francesco Bonami, presents around 200 pieces by the most relevant artists in the Collection, including Doug Aitken, Matthew Barney, Vanessa Beecroft, the Chapman brothers, Maurizio Cattelan, Thomas Demand, Andreas Gursky, Damien Hirst, Gary Hume, Anish Kapoor, Mike Kelley, Barbara Kruger, Sarah Lucas, Gabriel Orozco, Cindy Sherman and Rosemarie Trockel.
