This two-year initiative seeks to improve the protection of coralligenous habitat and therefore the populations of red gorgonians Paramuricea clavata in the nature reserves of es Vedrá, es Vedranell and the Islotes de Ponent in Ibiza through a comprehensive mitigation and awareness project to update management measures and reduce impacts due to anthropogenic causes, helping to conserve these threatened species and habitats.

To achieve this objective, the project will address three different lines of action: survey, mitigation and awareness.
