At Fundación Banco Santander we are committed to scientific research through young talent programs and development and innovation projects.
Programme developed in collaboration with the Fundación Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas Carlos III since 2009 with the aim of promoting cancer research in Spain.
Through this 24-month postdoctoral programme for young scientists, we aim to attract young researchers to our country and to exchange knowledge in the field of oncology between the CNIO and the centres of origin of the participants.
Project developed in collaboration with the Society of Spanish Scientists in the United Kingdom (SRUK/CERU) with the aim of recognising the career of young Spanish researchers who have worked in the United Kingdom and to publicise their research activity in both countries.
Researchers competing for this £14,000 prize may nominate themselves or be nominated by members of SRUK/CERU or entities such as Spanish and British universities and research centres, the Office of Cultural and Scientific Affairs of the Spanish Embassy in the United Kingdom, the Spanish Ministry of Education in the United Kingdom, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology and Fundación Banco Santander.
This programme has been developed in collaboration with the CNIO and IE University. It aims to provide business training to scientists to help them develop their potential and expand their professional opportunities.
Accelerate: Building Businees from Science & Technology is a combination of face-to-face and online sessions that offers participants the opportunity to create real innovation projects that will later be assessed by the CNIO.
