This project has been developed in collaboration with the "Felix Rodríguez de la Fuente" Centre for the Reproduction of Threatened Species. This initiative aims to preserve the scarce original population of both plants, which, in the case of Marsilea quadrifolia, refers to the only known natural population in Spain, which is found in the Centre itself.

The aim of this project is to support the conservation of two unique Iberian plant species in serious danger of extinction: Marsilea quadrifolia (water fern with leaves in the shape of a four-leaf clover) and Quercus lusitánica (dwarf oak).
